What is fountain soda syrup?

Fountain soda syrup is the same concentrated syrup used in restaurant and cinema fountain machines. Mix 1 part syrup with 5 parts carbonated water (the standard 5:1 fountain ratio) to make finished soda. We supply genuine brand-name syrup in 1.89 L jugs and original 20 L bag-in-box (BIB) format.

How much soda does a 1.89 L jug make?

At the standard 5:1 ratio, one 1.89 L jug makes about 11.3 L of finished soda — roughly 32 servings of 355 mL (a standard can). A two-pack (2 × 1.89 L) makes about 22.7 L.

How much soda does a 20 L bag-in-box make?

A 20 L BIB makes about 120 L of finished soda at the 5:1 ratio — roughly 338 servings of 355 mL. BIB is the most economical format if you have fountain equipment.

Should I buy 1.89 L jugs or bag-in-box?

Jugs are ideal for home use and smaller volumes: no special equipment needed — you can measure and mix by hand with carbonated water. Bag-in-box is designed for commercial fountain and carbonation systems and needs a BIB connector, a syrup pump, and CO2. If you are not running fountain equipment, choose jugs.

Which BIB connector do I need?

Coca-Cola family boxes use the red QCD-style connector, Pepsi family boxes use the green connector, and many other brands use the generic QCD-II connector. We sell all three, along with syrup pumps and CO2 equipment — see the accessories section of our shop.

How do I mix syrup without a fountain machine?

Chill everything first, then add 1 part syrup to 5 parts cold carbonated water and stir gently to preserve carbonation. For a 355 mL glass, that is about 60 mL of syrup topped with about 295 mL of carbonated water. Syrup also works for slush machines and frozen carbonated beverage (FCB) equipment.

Do you have sugar-free and diet options?

Yes — sugar-free options include Coke Zero, Diet Coke, Diet Pepsi and Pepsi Zero, depending on current stock. Check individual product pages for ingredients and nutrition details, which are listed for every syrup.

How should I store soda syrup and how long does it keep?

Store sealed containers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Every jug we fill carries a printed “Tastes better before” date and lot number so you always know its freshness window.

Are these genuine brand syrups?

Yes. Jug products are genuine brand syrup repackaged by SodaSyrup.ca from original bag-in-box without the original manufacturer’s involvement — contents unaltered. Every label lists the ingredients, nutrition facts, lot number and best-before date. SodaSyrup.ca alone is responsible for handling and distribution.

Do you ship across Canada?

Yes, we ship Canada-wide from our facility in Cochrane, Alberta. Shipping options and rates are calculated at checkout based on your address and order size.
